Today was a day of smooth sailing, gentle breeze, low swells and some clouds.  The humidity continues to increase and in addition to our seminars, reading on deck and generally lounging, we decided to go to the Indonesian Tea Ceremony.  Like we need to eat yet again!

We have gone for Tea and 'High Tea' a couple of times but find that when we do, we aren't ready for dinner at 5:45 when we are seated.  However, our Indonesian dining room servers, Pitou 1 and Pitou 2  - a common name in Bali - convinced us that we should attend.  The Jasmine tea and Indonesian sweets didn't disappoint.

This afternoon, the Captain announced that because we have been sailing with only two of the five generators on the ship operating, we would not arrive at Fuerte Amador as scheduled.  This stop required the use of tenders which also are hard to secure in this port.  As a result our shore tours were canceled and we would anchor in the Balboa anchorage with other ships waiting to go through the Panama canal.  We settled for the night about 9:15pm.  This would assure that we were on time for our scheduled entry into the canal.  As a result we spent the evening on deck enjoying the cooler evening breezes and the lights of Panama City in the distance.
