Where I stayed
Today was a day for packing - the coach for the trip south - and our suitcase for the trip back to Calgary. As I was working I chanced to look up and there, just outside the motor home, was one of Santa's reindeer! It even had a red ribbon around it's neck! And it was so tame that one of Santa's elves was able to pet it!
We had a wonderful meal at Campos Restaurant - one we have been driving past and eyeing all fall. Inside the door and in the lounge area they have a very extensive miniature village set up. We spent quite a bit of time checking out the detail - the skater's on the pond, the snowboarders on the hill, the dancer's in the hall - it was wonderful. Knowing what these miniature building cost I could only guess at the investment in this display. It even had a working railway! The evening was a fun way to wind up our stay at NK'Mip although we will still have New Year's eve for final goodbyes.
