An apartment over a jewellery shop
Great beaches, great surf, great food. For Mo and I it was our favourite local cuisine and that is saying alot because we loved the food in India. The locals on the coast are easy going and that includes the shop owners and beach sellers. And if you stay across the road from the beach the accomodation is great value. But their is a bit of a lingering sadness noticeable in the people due the devastion of the tsunami in 04 (which is still very visible) and over twenty years of civil war. But their is also hope that the cease fire will last and the country can continue rebuilding.
