I'm typing this while sitting in a large public park in Amsterdam. But I'm not here to talk about Amsterdam.. yet!

Our second day in Manchester was a very cool day. I had been looking forward to seeing Manchester City play Sunderland for months.. and the day had finally arrived.

We had tickets organised by Andrew's second-cousin Colin.. and the seats were good (check out the photos!). For those that care but for some reason don't know.. it was a whitewash.. mcfc 5.. sunderland 0 ;D

We also stopped by Old Trafford to get a photo of the stadium. Because we had come straight from the game.. we still had our Man City scarfs around our necks. We almost had photos of us infront of Old Trafford in the enemies colors!! In hindsight.. they may have made for a great photo ;D

As it was getting dark.. we went for a short drive around the country-side in Northwich. Beautifully eerie! We made a quick detour down a lane to an old English pub called The Boot Inn. We had cask ale (the pommie beer served at room temperate.. it's actually not that bad). After that.. it was already quite late.. so we ordered Indian curry take-aways and had a late dinner before going into a food coma and hitting the sack. Probably a good thing too as we had to be up at 4:30am to catch our flight into The Netherlands.

And that's the reason the blog took so long to post. Please keep an eye out for the first installment from Amsterdam in a little while (give me a few hours ;D).
