I am having such a fun time here in Tokyo. I wish I could stay here for even longer, but this is already my fifth day, out of seven! This morning once we were all awake, we decided to spend most of the morning at the hotel. On level 29 there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and rainforest shower that we thought we would try out. We wanted to work up an appetite!

As my brother and I are both over the age of twelve we were allowed to go up to the swimming pool alone. My dad wanted to catch up on some business, but he would meet us later. The pool was really fun, it wasn't like a normal 25m pool, it was a massive blue tiled pool with a massive window that showed us the whole of Tokyo. This hotel is the most incredible hotel I have ever been too!

The entry to all the Health and Leisure facilities is free for residents of the hotel, but unluckily for my brother and I, we were not allowed in most of the places because of our ages. My dad met us up at the jacuzzi at about 9:30am, we decided to go to the sauna before returning back to our suites, having a shower in the beautiful marble shower before heading to the lobby for some breakfast. It was fun going into the steaming sauna, but I was not allowed in with my brother and dad as there were seperate sauna's for men and women.

Once we had done eveything, we got to the lobby for breakfast. I enjoyed some crispy spring rolls with mangoes and chilli sauce for $10.50, my brother had Nasi Goreng for $39.00 and my dad had Yangzhou style friend rice for $32.00.

Today it was my dad's turn to choose somewhere to go. He chose 'Tokyo Tower'. It looks similar to the Eiffel Tower in Paris but it's even better (well, kind of!) We walked for five minutes to get to the Tokyo Station and then took the Toei Mita Line to get to Onarimon station. The price was $3.00 each. The train ride took about ten minutes. They weren't joking when they called it the bullet train, it really is as fast as a bullet! After six stops we arrived at Onarimon station, we had a five minute walk to get to tokyo tower.

Wow! Tokyo tower is even bigger then the Eiffel tower and much lighter! We payed $18.90 each to get to the top floor of the tower. It was 250m above ground and because of the clear sky we could see Mt. Fuji! The view was really amazing, it was a beautiful place to go. From there, we decided to quickly visit Temple Zojoji. It is a five minute walk away. Admission was free. This temple is thousands of years old and has stood through many earthquakes and fires! It is one of Japan's leading temples and is the head temple of the Jodo section of Japanese Buddhism.

After learning a bit of history about the temple, we decided to go back to the tower because around it was Tofuya Ukai, a Japanese restaurant that we had booked weeks in advance. We ordered a feast of Otsukuri, The Hussan course and lovely sweetfish. This ranged in prices from $74-$87. After that feast, we relaxed for a bit and enjoyed wandering through the huge gardens. At 1:00pm we took the train back the way we came and wandered back to the hotel.

Back at the hotel, we had a bit of a rest, we were very tired from our day trip and could not wait to hit the bed. We ordered room service from one of the hotel restaurants, Piacere. We all had the Taraba crab with tomato and Tuscan panzanella for $117.000 each.

I fell asleep very early, I was very tired from the day we had just had but looking forward to our last two days.
