It is already my third day in Tokyo and I still can't believe I am here. The people are so friendly and there are so many places to visit! I am very excited for the next four days (after today). At 10:00am my dad found my brother and I awake and said he had a suprise. We then went down to the 29th level, and saw the 'Chi' spa. I absoloutley love spa's, and even though I was hungry for breakfast, I was very excited. Once we were in our robes, we saw the spa menu and decided what we wanted. We all chose to have the same thing, 'The Chi Balance', it said it was a combination of Asian techniques that are used to relax your body. Before the treatment started we were asked to complete a test that showed which element we were. I was water, my brother was fire and my dad was earth. These elements were going to be included in the treatment, to make it more personal.

Before we could start the actual session, we had a bath in a beautiful marble outside bath. The water was convered in rose petals and it was warm and bubbly. We then said goodbye to each other and went into different rooms. The spa was incredible! After we had finished, we felt so relaxed. My dad payed for it, it was $390.00 each!!! I thanked my dad so much and then returned back to the suite. We weren't hungry because at the spa they had fed us with appetizers and that filled us up.

At the suite, we decided what we would do for the day. We thought we would go to 'The Imperial Palace, Japan'. It was going to take tradition to the next level! Luckily for us, our hotel was a ten minute walk to the Imperial Palace, well at our pace it was a twenty minute walk, but luckily the Imperial Palace wasn't too hard to find! We thought we would start of by walking through the east gardens. The palace was beautiful, and had free admission! We decided not to take a guided tour, we wanted to just experience the beauty at our own pace.

The time now was 1:00pm, we were happy just looking at flowers and reading about the history.
One of the reasons we decided to come to Tokyo in early April is because this is Japan's Cherry Blossom season. Cherry Blossoms are very traditional in Japan and are famous worldwide. Today was the first time my brother and I had ever seen them! These ones were pink and smelt divine. The Imperial Palace was heavenly.

By now we were starting to get a bit hungry. My dad knew of the Marunouchi building and it's many restaurants. It was a 16 minute walk to get to the building. We headed to level B1 and had 'Subway' it tasted as good as Perth! At Subway the prices were the same as Perth. I had the chicken and avacado sub and my brother and dad had pizza subs. After that, we looked around the floor and found a chocolate/sweet shop called 'Debailleul'. We got some sweet treats and then turned back to the hotel.

At the hotel we just relaxed and watched some Japanese television. We were really tired from our big day so we decided to have some room service from Nadaman. We all shared one dish, the chefs special. This dish was called "Omakase", I am still not quite sure what it is..all I know is that it was expensive! This dish was a whopping $363.00! After this, we had some of our chocolate from Debailleul and went to our rooms. Ready to sleep.
