Where I stayed
Sun 1/4/12
At 2:00am on a Sunday morning most people are in bed. Well on this paticular morning, I was heading out to Tokyo, Japan. I had kept myself awake until we finally left for Perth Airport at 11:30pm. Accompanying me was my dad and brother. In Tokyo it will be Spring and we will get to see the Cherry Blossoms. After waiting in terminal 1 for hours (considering we were in the Business Class lounge, it wasn't too bad), we hopped onto our Singapore Airlines flight and went to the business class section. Being in business class was Ah-Mazing!
After a long, tiring flight we got off at Singapore airport for a two hour break before heading off to Tokyo Airport. I absoloutley love Singapore Airport. Whether it was the Starbucks, the free internet access or all of the above, I enjoyed every second of the two hours. The time we arrived here was 7:15 am. I was still pretty tired but I was excited to see my hotel in Tokyo so I had to stay awake.
At 9:25am we left Singapore airport and headed to Narita International airport. Luckily I got to sleep on the flight and was not tired at all! When I arrived at the airport I was ready to hit the road. Luckily for me, my dad hired a Mercedes Benz to take us to the hotel. The price was $420.00 for one car! After 1 hour and fifteen minutes we arrived at the Shangri-La Hotel. From the outside the hotel was absolutely incredible, and on the inside it was even better.
My dad booked us the Executive Suite! It was the most beautiful room I have ever seen. The price for all the nights together was $42,236. I am so excited to sleep here tonight. It is pretty amazing. I will share a room with my brother while my dad has his own room. So unfair!
Tonight we have decided to dine in at one of the three first class hotels. This one is called Nadaman. My dad had a live king lobster that was $43.00, my brother had a Teppan-yaki Japanese prime beef tenderloin steak for $82.00 and I had 8 pieces of fresh sushi for $101.00. After my stomach was full I decided to finish off my amazing dinner with a $15.00 mango pudding (which we all shared). When we had finished, we headed back up to our sanctuary and went to sleep, dreaming of the fun we will have in the next week.
