Ski
We actually woke up on time today! I'm not sure if it was because this is our last day on the snow fields or because we went to bed early yesterday. Today I was determined to master the skill of skiing because i want to be able to say I can ski when we get back to Perth. Today we actually had time for an enjoyable German breakfast before we got geared up to go skiing.
It looked like the ski fields should be melting today because of the blinding sun, but I guess the temperature was probably about the same as yesterday, when there was barely any sun. Sophia was already there and waiting for me with a snowball in her hand and a cheeky grin on her face when I walked towards our group. I quickly picked up a snowball and throw it at her before she could get a chance to throw hers at me. We started a snowball fight again, and eventually everyone joined in until the coach told us to stop. We were supposed to have mastered going down hills and stopping without the snow plough by today, and I have, meaning I can ski!
The skiing school went quite quickly today and before I knew it we were sitting at the table of Restaurant Husar eating our delicious meal and discussing how our class went. Adam said that someone had fallen off the ski lift when they were half way up and had to walk the rest of the way, and Dad said that someone in his class had ended up eating piles of snow when they accidentally fell over and started rolling down the hill.
Our family session was enjoyable as always, but this time, as Adam and I could confidently ski now, we played a few games of knocking people over without touching them and I knocked dad over in pay back for all the times he knocked me over. Mum also made me have a mouthful of snow when she pretended to tickle me and I fell over on my face. After the last of our skiing we spent the rest of the evening in the snow, creating an igloo, which actually had one of those arch doors.
