Today we embarked on another gruelling trip around Delhi visiting 5 significant city sites having fought our way through tight streets packed, and we do mean packed, with buses, cars , tuk-tuks, rickshaws, small children and stray dogs.

Birla Mandir, also known as the Lakshmi Narayan temple

Jama Masjid which was built during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, and is one of the largest mosques in India

India Gate a massive 42m tall structure was built as a memorial to the 90,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives in world war 1.

Rashtrapati Bhavan (Hindi for Presidential House) the official home of the President of India

Qutab Minar was built during the reign of Sultan Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199 A.D., this 72.5 m high pillar is a symbol of the Delhi Sultanate.
