Below are some pictures of charming, funky 4th Ave., which is the Telegraph Ave. Of Tucson. There actually is a vintage trolley that runs up the street, past all the brightly painted old adobe shops and cafes and on into downtown. The character in the raccoon-tail hat was quoting scripture to nobody in particular and foretelling the awful reckoning to come from all the mistakes made by the U.S. government.  While he was pontificating, a drifter happened by and listened to him in rapt attention for awhile, astonished at all the amazing connections between the Bible and the Obama administration.   He kept saying, "I didn't know that.  Really?  I didn't know that."  After about ten minutes he drifted off down the street and the Sage just sat frozen there, looking out from his chair like Zoltar the All-knowing looking out from inside the coin booth, waiting for the next quarter.  I stole this picture because he was something different and interesting, a real original, and that is what gives life it's flavor.
