After a wonderful one week road trip around Turkey with my friend Ahmet, I returned to Istanbul to spend one last day touring the city. I visited the oldest Mosque in Turkey called the Aya Sofia and did some final shopping at the Grand Bazaar. I left the country on a 6am flight and made my way through Frankfort to Houston, through customs then finally to Phoenix, Arizona. My family was waiting outside the gate to meet me and after exciting reunions and some sleep, I still remain in a jetlag haze, but I'm happy to be home.
