Well sorry about the delay in writing to the blog, we have travelled some miles and it is starting to tire us now, so we have been hitting the pillow as soon as in hotel.

Anyway - lets carry on......

We left the little sleepy village of West Yellowstone, but before we headed into the park, we visited a bear and wolfe reserve where you can see grizzlys up close. it was an educational centre too, so it was fairly interesting. However, we should have been patient! - later on through the park we actually encountered a wild grizzly!!! - these suckers should be hibernating by now.... well he(or she) was wondering along the roadway! - a photographer actually was chasing after him for closer shots! - we decided to do it from the saftey of our car, with the engine running.....

It is shame we only managed to catch the back of him by the time deb's shitty fuji camera loaded up!!!

I caught it on video cam. never the less it was pretty fantastic to see a grizzly just walking past the road.. a lovely memory for both of us.

Also in the park, we paid a visit to some active geysers, including the famous ``old faithful``.

The park was wonderful to visit this time of the year, there was literally the odd car going through. - I don`t think I would like the hussle and bussle of summer and screaming kids everywhere.

So then it was on to the city of Cody - in the state of wyoming. - this is the real wild west, and it was a cracking little town.

A real great experience today!!

The photographer who was chasing the grizzly is probably dead now...

yeap. and I wonder if he had his camera on a 10 second self timer for that shot.....then that would make him a pro.
