Sometimes you find a place that is exactly what you need at that point in time, for me this was Kampot.   I had heard the place was cool and off the tourist track and I wasn't dissapointed.  I volunteered at Chumkriel language school where I assisted in the teaching of 2 classes.  I have to say that the first day I felt like a deer in the headlights as the children asked me how old I was and then if I was married, when I said no they asked, "What's wrong with you?"  Then they asked if I came to Cambodia to find a husband so I could have kids before I got too old!  It was funny, I couldn't really explain to them that I was quite content single and childless.

I stayed in a great guest house right on the river and a few kilometers out of town.  I met so many cool people and also hung out with my friends from Phnom Penh whom I traveled there with. We went on some crazy adventures including an epic waterfall quest where I saw a freakin' cobra!  I will really miss this place and they people I shared my time with there.
