Today is the start of an 8 days trip up the coast of Western Australia and an early start to the day where I was picked up at the backpackers as were the others on the tour (Red Earth Safari's - Terry) and as there were no further pickups at Freo or Scarborough we already had some free time to go to Kings Park to take a look around the garden.

We then began the journey to the Pinnacles in the evening. The first stop was a drive up to Yanchep and its National Park where we went to the Crystal Cove and had a tour of the crystal caves where we learnt about its history and how it formed and allowed us to touch broken pieces of the stromatolites (decorations hanging from the ceiling).

After the caves we went around the park for a walk around and were shown Loch McNess and were taken to a Koala sanctuary where normally the Koala's are sleeping but one was pretty hungry so we got to see some action with him getting his lunch and this is also where we had our lunch. There were also free roaming kanga's around and birds that also wanted to have lunch with us/
