This morning I decided to go visit the popular market down by the Rocks and have a nosey about at the aboriginal artefacts, the foodies market and also a range of bags which were tempting me to part with cash.

As it was a nice day I chose to walk along the Harbour Bridge and had lunch near Milson's Point. I hadn't done any research and wasn't aware North Sydney doesn't really have anything going on at the weekends and its even more bare on a Sunday but it was actually quite nice.

I walked to where the Aussie PM lives when she is here in Sydney (Official residence is called The Lodge in Canberra). I have to say its quite a nice little house she has and wasn't exactly what I was expecting there. Admiralty House is next door which is where the Governor of Australia used to live. The tours in the house only happen once a year and thats in September this year...bit late for me to wait to go and have a butcher's. I did like the gates of the house and felt it was a nice touch with the Southern Cross star shape.

The best bit thought about this day with exploring that little bit more around the house I found Lady Gowrie Lookout which is a beautiful little getaway and offers a view of the harbour that many people may not have seen. I must say I've dithered whether to share this nugget of beauty, or not but they say sharing is caring!

I then went along back up the road and walked into North Sydney and saw the North Sydney Oval which is one of Australia's oldest cricket grounds and also chilled in the park.

There was no way I was walking back home after having walked so much in the day so off I got on the bus and still had to walk anyway back home but it stopped off about 20 mins up the road at Wynard station so I walked through the Aussie Hyde Park back home.

NB: Go to salon to get a Pedicure...its much needed!
