Having walked for many miles around KL, I have discovered many of the great sights there are to the city and I have not had a chance to cover them all so maybe will have to have a second trip here in the future. I will try and keep it brief as I know I can talk about them all for a long time.

The first one is the Sri Mahamariamma which is a Tamil Hindu temple which is the oldest in KL and is built on a basis of a 5 tiered gopuram (tower) and the temple as a whole resembles the form of the human body with the tower being the feet.

It is one of the most colourful temples I have seen and has a wonderful mix of the Hindu deity's it holds a temple within the complex for those to pray. I do have to say regardless of the tall structure you can easily walk past this and miss the temple as I did on the way to the closest ATM. Unless you look up to the structure it is not blatantly obvious that this is a temple but is definitely worth having a look at the architecture despite its odd location.

The Central Market...to be honest there's not much to say about this one other than its a handicraft/souvenir market. Its nice just to have a browse through and the highlight is the fish spa as mentioned in another entry.

The video thats attached if of a man with live fish where they were killing them in front of the customers...talk about fresh fish! I spared any footage of the beheading and this merely shows the live fish. This was taken in a local market on the outskirts of KL however I have also provided a picture of the beheaded misfortunes of the fish.

Bukit Bintang - now this is the place that has EVERYTHING! It has high end malls and reasonably priced ones. I was in heaven is Low Yat Plaza as it was a gadget freak playground with camera paraphernalia everywhere, lots of cool things for the iphone, even supposedly cool things for this bloody Mac I have - Note to self: Get someone who knows how to use a Mac properly to teach me!

This area is well known for its eating out and more specifically Jalan Alor (this will be covered in the food blog). It's other well known aspect is the street competition for reflexology/massages. This is one I chose to take up as walking the many miles around the city in the blistering heat (when it didn't decide to piss it down) my poor feet needed some attention. For just over 5 this was well worth doing and I also got an additional back massage done for the issues with my shoulder. I have to say the elderly lady had very unorthodox way to massage and has a very different style from my guy I normally would go to at home. She straddled me on many occasions, made clicks in my back as a chiropractor, told me off as my mother does for not having enough sleep (how the hell she figured that one out I'll never know!) but I have to say however unorthodox this method was it was actually quite good.

The other two main attractions of KL being the KL Tower and the Petronas Towers are the ultimate must see and do whilst in KL. The views from the KL tower are better and the afternoon tea isn't the greatest but the views especially when I'm sure there are no thunderstorms  are better as it provides a 360 degree view of the city and you can sit down with a good cup of tea or in my case 3 and a half cups of coffee.

My tip so to speak with the Petronas Towers is not to get up at 5:30 in the morning just to do the RM 10 sky bridge and push the boat out to pay the equivalent of just under 10 to see the skybridgr and go to the observation desk...it is stunning to say the least to see the views from such a height and the structure itself is a wonder in terms of how it holds itself up. I went twice in the morning and evening and if you go in the evening you may be lucky to see the lights start switching on.

NB:- I sort the pictures out later and add a few more I've missed as I haven't put the pictures of the national mosque up but lack of time as I've been quite busy here in Sydney will come in due course as will my other blogs from KL and the start of  Sydney - So bad to be so behind and its not even been two weeks!
