July 12: We planned an active/budget weekend and turns out that's exactly what it was! We decided to leave Saturday morning on the first bus out at 6:15....we arrived in La Fortuna around 11, we were immediately greeted by someone offering accommodation for $6 a night each, with our own bathroom and tour desk at our fingertips....so we took it, Hotel Dorthey was not a bad place at all, we signed up for a tour at 3 o'clock that included jungle hike and hot springs for $25. We had 3 hours so we went for a walk around town and then headed back for a two hour nap...at 3 we loaded into a mini bus and went on a jungle hike and volcano tour...we fully experienced the rainforest, We were the only ones on the hike that didn't' have rain coats or ponchos so we got soaked, but it was good that it rained all day because the clouds finally broke and we were able to see lava come out of the volcano...ended the day with hot springs and some beers with the people from our group...

July 13th: Woke up had breakfast, then decided to rent bikes ($1 an hour) and ride to the waterfall...would have been an easy ride, had we taken the right road, but why would we do it the easy way, long story short we took the wrong road there up and down hill rock roads....almost got to the waterfall, when we realized somehow Kiley was missing her bag, so we left our bikes with someone while we went searching for the bag, which is still MIA....went and got our bikes, rode back (no money for waterfall) ran into some people that showed us the easier way back...get back to the hotel and kiley has also lost her shirt...also still MIA...we have exactly 6000 c left so we decide to take the early bus back, that was packed so we had to stand for an hour but eventually got a seat, made it home finally fixed dinner....and went to bed! Another successful weekend,

Next weekend Doug and Toni are here!!!
