We have finally arrived after sitting on a plane for 13 hours. The hostel is lovely and the room is huge, what more can you want after a long journey! We would like to go to bed but it is only 11am here (17:20 in the UK). Been for a walk around Lima the buildings are very colonial and grand, however quite a lot is closed today as the are preparing for a big festival on the 4th October called La Virgen del Rosario, which honours the slaves.
