Howdy Folks.

Well, the weather is absolute crap here in Dunedin, but I have to say, not a bad little city ... not at all! Very hilly, not to big .... kinda reminds me of Guelph a little ... has the same sort of feel somehow (might be the anti-Bush demonstration that just walked by the internet cafe ....) Anyways, it's a nice place but I'll be moving on tomorrow. Not sure yet where I'm going though.

The hostel I'm staying at here is on this crazy stupid hill ... it's practically vertical. I was so happy that they DON'T do pick-ups at the bus station and that after walking 15 minutes with my 10 ton backpack I got to walk up that stupid street. The hostel is really nice anyways, so I guess it was worth it. HOpefully I don't fall on my face when I try to walk down the hill with all my gear tomorrow.

Today I took a scenic train ride through the Taieki Gorge ... was pretty cool. Was really high up so lots of good river shots to be taken. Also a shit load of wild mountain goats. Pretty cool.

That's about all I got. I must now go decide whether or not I'm going to go to Invercargill or Queenstown tomorrow. It's pretty cold, so I think I might skip Invercargill.

Go to Queenstown
Salmon! I remember loving Queenstown- I was thinking about moving there when I was 13!

It was a pretty cool place if I remember correctly!
