We started this morning with a dawn game drive through Chobe National Park in safari jeeps. We had great luck seeing hundreds of elephants, buffalo, duelling impala, giraffes, warthogs and hippos.  Unfortunately we just missed a pride of lions including two cubs that crossed the road in front of one of the other jeeps.  Despite a great morning we couldn't help feeling disappointed as we made our way back to our campsite.  Our mood changed however when Charles served up pancakes for breakfast.  In the afternoon we went on a river cruise down the Chobe River which separates Botswana from Namibia.  This was supposed to be a game cruise but pickings were slim, only seeing a couple of elephants, a handful of hippos and the odd springbok.
