TRANSLATION: Hello, how are you, hot guy? (Thanks for teaching me that one, Zoe!)
I love this picture of Dave and I on his wee electric bike. He's been duly showing me the sites, i.e. all the eating, drinking and shopping outlets!! Apparently there’s not much cultural stuff to see here in Ningbo but my stay here is more about getting to grips with Dave’s life and I’m really liking it. I really don’t think I’ll mind living here in a few months!
It's a very industrial city but very rich and up-and-coming. The city is constantly expanding and parts of it just resemble large building sites where in a few months time a new skyscraping apartment building will emerge. I can't remember what I expected it to be but I think I'm surprised at how "un-chinese" and western everything looks. Excect all the chinese characters that are all over the place and, of course, all the Chinese people :)
