I am just wrapping up my course... as of Wednesday I'll be in Haifa and settling into my new home there. I spent an amazing Shabbat (Jewish rest day) in the Jewish quarter of the Jerusalem Old City at this incredible home coverted and renovated from 3 apartments. It's my friend's aunte and uncle from the US who have moved to Israel ("made Aliyah") and now take in tons of groups on a regular basis for shabbat dinner.
We had dinner with 50 Israeli soldiers! An incredible view of the Old City and Mount Olive and sorrounding areas.
Pictures are to come as soon as I get longer than 10 minutes on a computer.
I have definately met some great people here and am anticipating my adventures in ambulance work.... anxiously awaiting....
