Well, it's been a while since I've had access to e-mail, so I haven't been able to give an update of my first week here in the holy land. And right now I have about 5 minutes.
I've had a great week so far, spent time with family, stayed with my friend Moria outside of Tel Aviv and went down to her old college town Be'er Sheva in the desert.
Yesterday, I began my INTENSE training for the ambulance volunteer program I'm doing here in ISrael. Basically, non-stop class from 8am to 10pm for the next week. Then going to Haifa for a month and a half to do my work (sorry Moria, couldn't get Be'er Sheva!). Meeting some great people from all around the world.
I will try and get some pictures up in the next couple of days - again I'm in class til 10pm every night and stuck on campus, so not too much access.
Hope everyone's well... I'm safe and sound here.

Hi Mira!
glad that you made it safe and sound and good luck with the intense training! Dr. le Nobel was so sad he missed you, but I gave him your address and he is going to forward you a contact name to someone he knows there.. never hurts to have more contacts! Take care and have fun and I am looking forward to reading more about your adventures!! This travelpod thing is amazing! :) Cheers, Sam
