Uncle Bill and I left Albuquerque, NM early this morning. Along our travels to Arizona, we saw many long freight trains (from half to a mile long). After counting 10 separate trains, I stopped counting. While in route, we passed the Petrified Woods National Park, Kaibab National Forest, and passed a crater caused by a meteorite. Being Memorial Day weekend, we had trouble getting a place to stay. At this KOA, they first said they were full, but then they did some shuffling and said they had a spot for us. After settling in, I went for a 50 minute run. I think because of the elevation, it was harder to run. Tomorrow, we'll be going to the Grand Canyon then heading to Las Vegas, NV.
