Today, we traveled all the way across Colorado from La Junta to Four Corners. We ended up getting a flat and had to change the front driver side tire. We were 20 miles from the nearest town. After changing it, we got to town and changed both front tires. We then moved on with our journey. We went through some beautiful mountainous terrain. At one point, the passage was closed for 30 mins. as they worked on the road and moutains surrounding the road. So I got out and took pictures of the passage and movies. It was nerve wracking at times with the high elevation and sharp turns. We passed through three thunderstorms with heavy rains and winds. We got to Four Corners and found out it was closed for the evening. So, we went back to the UTE Native American Reservation Casino just outside of Cortex, CO. I forgot to mention, just like in the movie RV, my seatbelt always acts up. Sometimes I have to go back and forth a couple of times before I can get the belt on! Anyways, tomorrow we're going to try Four Corners again, then off to Mesa Verdes.
