Etosha gave us our first taste of game viewing on the tour. We saw loads of animals, desite the fact that we were driving in our huge truck (see picture of it on Etosha pan). The campsites here were both great as well, with amazing floodlit waterholes. There during the first evening we saw two white rhino, 2 giraffes (looked fantastic drinking with their front legs slayed!), 4 hyena and at least 6 lionesses - absolutely amazing... I have to say a huge thanks to everyone from work, the binoculars you guys got me were an absolute must & I was glued to them for ages watching all the animals take their turns to come into drink - watching the rhino's giving the lionesses attitude was something else !

Unsurprisingly I didn't take pictures at night (I only have a fairly average digital camera), but I've attached some from the day to try & give you a feel for the park... Including shots of an amazing looking lion which we tracked for about 20 minutes the following morning - I'm sure he didn't notice the huge truck reversing alongside him as he walked parallel to the road?!
