We had an lovely bus journey into Chile from Le Paz and not just because of the extremely comfy seats and plane style chicken pasta lunch! Basicially we drove through another stunning part of the Andes with massive snowcapped volcanoes and lakes all around us. The actual border crossing was absolutely freezing, but luckily another straightforward one.

The difference in temperature from the cold height of the Andes to this warm coastal town was very welcome for all of us... We had a good couple of days here just chilling out and even got to lie in the beach for the first time since being in the north of Peru !
