In January l spent a wonderful weekend away with a group called Link Aupair...who organize weekly meetings for Nannies and Aupairs in the Geneva area. On this weekend over 50 female Aupairs came and we stayed in the lovely Swiss village of Rougemont in a enormous Chalet over looking the Alps. We visited the very famous ski resort of Gstaad...where the British Royal family and numerous other celebrities go to ski over the European winter and l made numerous new friends who l have enjoyed meeting up with and traveling with over the last couple of months. We dined on Fondue, l developed a taste for tea and for some reason we ended up watching Beaches and crying our eyes out on the rainy Sunday! It was a lovely weekend and a Hot Air Balloon competition was also taking place which added to the beauty of the landscape and the fabulous company!
