Roz, Ben, Chloe and mini Evie have all been left behind. and we are upset. We had the best time with those guys.It was really great to spend so much time with them during such an important part of their lives. They'll be fine though. they have a brand new gorgeous little one to keep them busy.

We flew from Santa Cruz to Acunsion in Paraguay. spent a night there, and went to a REAL pub. we haven't seen one of those for about 10 months. After that we went on a long bus ride to the border with Brasil and Argentina. As Mim said in her facey status a few days ago, it was a long day. We went from Paraguay, into Brazil, and finished with a Argentinean steak, in Argentina (the steak itself was a highlight of the trip).

The following morning we went to visit Iguazu falls, a spectacular series of waterfalls marking the border from Brazil to Argentina. Travelling cliches are soo below me, but it truly was amazing. I have never seen that amount of water disappearing into oblivion before. It seems to all morph into one living thing. We were inches away from it too. It was a privilege to be there.

that all said and done, we went and booked a flight to Rio de Janiero for the final two weeks.

I want to say something else. let me give you the facts. Im not going to hide the details. get yourself prepared....

I punched an airhostess. in the face.

Im serious. So lets be objective here. Lets Tarantino this. you've have the end, now lets work back to the start. We were on our flight to Rio and i was tired. i decide to hit the stretch maneuver. when you stretch on a plane, there are obviously a few different models to try. Having disregarded the common 'out to the sides' approach and the 'up north' model, i decided on a combo. The 45 degree 'up and out'. I really went for it too. I did not extend the arms slowly, nor did i check the blind spot behinds me. With my fists closed, i stretched as if my life were in danger, fully uppercutting a perfectly innocent lovely air hostess in the face. I did it for England.

I went through different stages in the aftermath. Firstly as she raised her hand to her face in order to come to terms with the situation, i offered a stream of apologies in Spanish and English. I was genuinely sorry though. This was not how i was brought up. I added extra comfort to the mix by putting my hand on her shoulder. Soon i realized that would not do much to help though as that hand was the same one that had, moments before, briefly been introduced to her nose. I then started to think absurd thoughts. What was she doing there anyway? Why was she walking down the aisle at that exact moment? Did she want a punch? For a second, i found myself being a little annoyed with HER! how bizzarre.

Then, we laughed about it, a lot. (mim and I, not the air hostess).   super giggles.

Anyway, we have safely arrived in Rio. It is buzzing and alive. We are having a great time in Ipanema. it is really safe and there is loads to do. The beach is huge and golden and the centre of attention. All the guys are super ripped and the girls all wear thong bikinis (so Mim tells me). We both genuinely feel over dressed when we go there. The weather has been fantastic. Everywhere is so pricey though. We have bought some pasta and pesto for the next three days. yum yum. Will update when we know a bit more about the city. Cant wait to do some tours.

keep you posted. cant wait for hugs

you have to be forgiven for punching the airhostess I guess, at least you didn't break her nose(I hope).
Looking forward to seeing you when you get back and Mim, hugs readily available. xx
