Uluwatu for two nights. incredible. tropical paradise. cheap food. good room. group moral: fantastic. cliffside. pro surfers. dangerous surf. mountains of water.rip current, metre of water then rock. went out. survived. profoundly grateful.
now at padangbai. two nights. fishing village. 40p tofu, sticky rice, bean sprouts, satay sauce, chilli, yum yum. saw men kill snake on roadside. nasty. taxi driver said "snake kill men. one bite dead. not good". i agree. finished reading fear and loathing in las vegas. Enjoyable. Now reading brave new world. profound. miss people. land here is cheap. generally, very grateful to be here. kuta tomorrow. missing surf. filthy city. cheap ray bans. Mim is probably enjoying some western food somewhere
