So as you can imagine landing in Fiji at night, both mega tired and trying to look normal for customs was a chore. We found the most reasonable place to stay near the beach, and crashed heavily onto our bed. Money is starting to get the better of us, and Fiji was nowhere as cheap as we had hoped for. The place where we are staying is exceptionally friendly and next to the beach, although the beach is pretty crappy. After again crossing paths with Lynn (previously of wildlife park and Sydney travelogs), and again saying an emotional goodbye, we have mostly been trying to save the last remainder of cash.

We did however do a day trip to the scrumptious Bounty Island yesterday, which coincided with our first sunny day, yay. You could walk around the island in half an hour, and this place was also the place celebrity love island was shot, double yey. As irrelevant to us as this point was, we had a great day sun soaking, snorkeling and kayaking in some waves off shore. Again the staff were very frindly, might be something to do with this cava stuff they have here hmmmm....

The long flight home, will start, although we will enjoy the same day all over again as we cross the date line. We are very excited to be coming home, but I think the fright of it all being over is setting in, and infecting our dreams. Hope to see some of your ugly mugs soon.
