So this last week we have spent alot of time up in Sydney, spending money we don't have. World cup fever has surprisingly caught on in Aus, and it's keeping the more traditional sports of the front pages. However its taking a lot of effort to stay up to 7 in the morning to catch all the games.
Occasional walks for coffee by the beach in Woonona, and just trying to keep up with the pace of life is tough, as you can imagine. On Sunday we went to watch in Engalnd V Australia at Rugby, and it was great to see the Olympic stadium, specially since it has been changed since I was here 6 years ago. The game it's self, was a little bit of a drubbing, but I thought there was some positive stuff. Spent the night (after maybe a couple of bars), staying at the very kind Ken and Sue's in Balmain, thanks!
On tuesday, we were dropped by Pearlie in Coogie so we could make our way into the town centre. Whilst deciding on our breakfast destination, we bumped into Laura (Carl from st. neots girlfriend). I think we struggled at first to recognize her, just being so surprised on the other side of the world. Sat down and caught up over breakfast that she was serving (not bacon by the way Laura). delayed we almost missed Kates b-day present, of climbing Sydney harbor bridge. we got a completely still day, with blue sky's and we could see all the way to the blue mountains, spectacular! I am now officially a master climber, ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh, I know. Later we met up with Kates friend from the wildlife park, Lynn, and Carl and Laura, and caught up on old times. What ever lays round the next corner, who knows!
Anyone in my fantasy football league, i'm on top and thats where i'm staying.

I've not changed my name...
...but somehow I've come out as lindan. Oh well.
Wouldn't it be easier to get up at 7 rather than stay up until 7?
