Hello everyone,
So another week of working at the centre which was great. Nice to see everyone again and the animals, getting up at 6am was a bit of a shock though after lazing about for 2 weeks! The day I got back another volunteer who left a while ago was back so it was a mini re-union with music, Sangsom and Tess ended up shaving her head! Check out the pics!
The next day it was back to work feeding bears and monkeys and working hard but fun too. That night a few of us went to Hue-Hin to watch some Thai boxing which was very impressive. The fighters ranged from 7-8 to 30 something (they were scary!). It was great to see apart from when one of the young guys went off crying as he got winded.
The rest of the week went by in a blur of working and meeting the new volunteers and a few late nights. Stayed up to watch the Arsenal game and after watching scandalous refereeing, pure valiance for 50mins and then it was all over it was a gloomy ride back before a 6am start the next day!
After that the atmosphere at the centre was less good and a difference of opinion meant Tess left which is sad but she has new and exciting plans brewing at the moment.
On my last night we went out in Hue-Hin again for dinner with Tess and had a leaving thing for her with more pool and karaoke (always fun!) and more goodbyes.
Met up with Danny the next day and spent the night there before taking the million hour night train to Penang in Malaysia. So farewell Thailand its been fun maybe see you again soon but hello Malaysia and your new sewage system, ringgits and hairdressers....
Take care everyone and hopefully see you in sunny England soon... xx
