This morning we checked our of our hotel in Kas. Carey wasn't feel too well so she and Chris G hung out by the pool all morning. Anne, and Tanya convinced me to go on a hike.  I was reluctant as Chris G and I had been out a bit late the night before with Hasan.  I decided to head out with them on the hike that Hasan, our sea kayaking from the day before, had briefly told us about the night before. Hiking with Anne Van is always an adventure.  She loves not having specific directions, a map, or water.  Luckily, we brought water, and 1 out of three ain't bad. We started out walking through town and then caught up with the Lycian trail which was clearly marked with red/white signs. We hiked along the mountain for about an hour to a little secluded beach called Limongucli (or something like that). This ended up being a really cool hike through a forest and scaling down rocks. We were able to get right up to the Lycian tombs and I even got in some for some photos. Our hike ended right on the secluded beach. Jumping in the cool Mediterrean is a great way to end a hike.  I kept waiting for someone to come kick us off this beach that appeared to belong to a private resort, however, by the time we left it appeared that this was public domain. We then found a huge water taxi for the three of us (equipt with huge padded sofas at the bow) to take us back across the bay to Kas. Also a cool way to end a hike

We met Chris G and Carey back at the hotel and got back in the Fiat for the 2 hour drive to Cirali. This was the craziest drive so far with sheer drops down the cliffs into the water and crazy hairpin turns. We finally made it to Cirali which is a very small beach town with basically 2 dirt roads. The beach here is much lusher with pine trees and the beach is actually made of pebbles. Anne and Tanya took bikes provided by Hotel Canada for a quick ride before dinner. Carey slept for a solid 18 hours to let whatever bug run its course. We ate dinner at the hotel which was amazing and had a quiet night playing poker and blogging.

Tomorrow is boating day!!.
