We had rather a bad experience for breakfast this morning. Being out of milk, we decided to go to McDonalds for breakfast. We rarely eat there, so we didn't really know the difference between certain things on the menu. The plan was to get egg mcmuffins, but we saw these mcgriddles on the dollar menu that looked like the same thing. So we ordered them, opened them up and notice that there were no eggs in the sandwiches, just sausage paddies. When we started eating them, we realized that the bread was actually two syrup filled pancake. Eww, not a nice combination. The boys didn’t really care, they just gobbled theirs up. Me and Dad were pretty grossed out though.

In the afternoon, we took a tour of the Korbel winery; a major winery that has been operating since the 1880s. The tour was pretty interesting. The winery was filled with walls and walls of bottles, as well as huge wine casks.  It was a nice little field trip.

On the way to the camp ground, we stopped to see some of giant redwoods.  A forest of redwoods is so neat to see.  There was a tree that had fallen over, and it was so huge, that we could all easily crawl inside the base.
