Today is Sunday; it's a bummer on Sundays to have to miss church! Anyway, we didn’t really stop anywhere today. We just did a lot of driving through California countryside. It is amazing how dry it is out here. There are fields and fields of dry grass. It was pretty common to see fire walls, or tracks of dirt surrounding fields to prevent fires from spreading. Even though it’s really dry, there are tons of vineyards everywhere. The rows of grapes were all planted so symmetrically. Oh, I guess we did stop at one place. We stopped at one of the vineyards so Mom and Dad could do a wine testing.

By evening we made it to the specific coast. It was weird, when we got out to feel the water, is was really cold. Not a typical what you think "warm California beach". So we touched the water, and then ran shivering back to the car. We stayed in a camp ground really close to the bay that night.
