We had a full day today. In the morning we made several stops in Canyon de Chellay. Saw some beautiful canyons and small farms. It was neat being in open ranges, where you could be driving around and have horses and cattle right next to the road. After leaving Canyon de Chellay we headed to the Painted dessert and the Petrified forest. The dessert was very colorful. The different colored rocks were in layers on the mountain. Me and the boys found the Petrified forest especially interesting. There were huge stone tress laying in pieces everywhere. Some were very shiny and colorful. Since taking wook from the park was illegal, we stopped at a shop and each got a piece of petrified wood.
Later we were drove on route 66. If you've seen the movie cars you'll probably remember it from the movie. We also drove through the town that was in the movie. Complete with the motel where cars stayed in cones, except they were tipis. There were a bunch of old cars sitting around the place, including an old hudson that had Doc written on the license plate. If you haven't seen cars I apologize. You probably don't get what I'm babling on about.
So, we had a pretty fun filled day!

Lizard earrings!
Hello Miller Family! Looks like you are having a great family adventure. Bill and I are envious. Just wanted to share that lizards make great earrings, just hang them from your ears...it might hurt a little, but it's pretty funny looking! HA HA! Bill did that to show the kids when they were little...it was hysterical.
Take care and travel safe!

What???
Is it possible for me to more jealous of you guys, traveling on Route 66? I mean, that's sweet!!! (And Cars is a great movie too)
On another note: Cody and I both agreed the church picnics are very boring without the Millers...
See you later... Like a month or so... *sniff*
