What I did
Blue Mountain National Park

Today we went on a guided your with Australian Luxury Tours to the Blue Mountain Natiaonal Park about an hour out of Sydney. Our tour guide, Neil, was very nice and informative, taking us through tight outback roads, showing us different trees and plants, telling us about aboriginal heritage, answering any questions, and giving us the opportunity to see amazing things and have some fun.
The day started at about 6 AM when we woke up. We got ready and waited, and Neil picked us up at our hotel at 8 AM. We drove around Sydney picking up other people and we were on our way out of Sydney at aroung 9 AM. We drove by the Sydney 2000 Olympics Park, and many other little things. It took about an hour to get to out first destination, the skirts of Blue Mountain National Park, taking narrow uphill roads and scary curves to get to an open camping area to have morning tea and snacks. We left the park after about 45 minutes, not seeing much wildlife, a few cockatoo's and birds, and headed to the next place. 20 minutes later we were at a canyon lookout, again in the blue mountain natiaonal park, seeing a wreckd car at the bottom, amazing trees in the valley, and beautiful rock formations. We left and headed to another lookout 20 miles north, seeing the famous Three Sisters Rocks, and a beatiful waterfall, again surrounded by trees in the deep valley. We then headed to eat lunch at the Jenby-Rinjah Eco Lodge, having steak, corn on the cob, sausage, tossed salad and a sprite to drink. We went out at the lodge to try and feed the birds, but had no luck. We then left for another lookout seeing more rock formations and the valley. We then started to make our way back home, whicj was a long 2 hour scenic drive. I started talking to someone I met in our group from New York City, about Sports, Canada, New York, Schools and many things. We were then dropped off at the end or Harbour Bridge, instead of our hotel, because we wanted to walk the 2 mile bridge. We walked through the markets and made our way to our hotel, where we ate a small supper and relaxed. Thanks for reading!
