After an exciting night of the rodeo, we began our next day by visiting the Buffalo Bill Museum http://www.buffalobill.org I don't remember much about it except for many western exibits that included Native American traditional clothing. "The Buffalo Bill Historical Center is a world-renowned museum examining the personal and public life of W.F. 'Buffalo Bill' Cody (1846-1917). Buffalo Bill was a huge influence on Cody, from building irrigation systems to developing Cody's famous rodeos with his Wild West Show."

We filled up with 5.9 gallons of gas @ $2.20 before leaving Cody. Our destination today is South Dakota. We had a very long drive this day, stopping in Greybull, Sheridan & Newcastle, Wyoming for gas.

At the state line of South Dakota, we stopped for the traditional "State Sign Pose." But this was no ordinary moment: this was a state that Momma's mother had never been to, so I got the honor of taking this photograph. Momma looks quite pleased with herself & Terri appears to be missing a front tooth! I know she had all her teeth when we started, so this was an interesting event to rediscover.

We camped near Wind Cave National Park, most likely at Elk Mountain campground.
