We are in Hangzhou

We took the express train from Shanghai to Hangzhou, about 1.5 hours. No time for a story now, just some movies and pictures.

Update
We missed the train we wanted to take from Shanghai. The South Shanghai station was further then we expected. We took a later train and got to Hangzhou later then we wanted. We also did not get the hotel I wanted. We are going to try to change hotels.

The hotel we have now is ok, 220 rmb (about $28.00) night for 2 including internet in the room but the location is not very good. We got this hotel from a tout at the train station. I was suspicious because they would not show us where it was the map. And only said it was 10 or 15 minutes from the lake when I asked.

Mimi said we could take a look and not take it if we don't like it. Well, it is over 1/2 hour form the lake by bus. We were tired and it was getting late so we took it for one night. Next time I'll try to overrule mimi when I'm suspicious. Sometime this is hard because she speaks Chinese and I don't know everything said and she said lets go. :)

Mimi get good deals for many hotel when we travel in China but I want to try some with foreigners so I can get travel information from talking with them. She was able to good prices for hotels for the next night in better locations when we walked around late last night. I want a hotel on the lake, it is recommended a lot by people on the internet and not too expensive. We will try to see if we can get it. The May holiday is ending soon so hotels and trains will be easier to get.


I am during well but wake up early because of jet lag. Mimi is adjusted to the time but I think not the food. She is very careful what she eats, more careful then me. But I usually don't have problems but sometime she does when we travel.
