Sandals Resort

Last port was Montego Bay Jamaica. It was crazy at the dock - so many people trying to sell you stuff before you even went into the shops. I reserved a day at the Sandals resort...I won't lie to you - it was nice...:) The tour bus took as on a 20 minute drive around the island to get to the resort and we went through some of the ugliest, poorest areas I have seen. Reminded me of the shacks and poor areas I saw in Malaysia. There were people walking in between the two lanes of traffic selling things and I was just sure they were going to get ran over. By the time we got to Sandals I felt guilty...I believe this may have been the goal so that we tipped the driver more.

We got to sandals and were directed out on the beach to relax in nice lounge chairs right by the ocean. Food and drinks were included in the package - all you could eat and drink but I only managed to have one pina colada because the Jamaican rum was really strong. Lunch was a wonderful buffet. I spent the afternoon relaxing, listening to music and reading a book. Can't beat that!
