Greetings from Mauritania!
We are back at the training center and will be here for a few days getting our last round of shots (yeah!) and sitting in on a few more training sessions. And..... on Monday we finally get to find out where our permanent sites will be! There has been a lot of speculation, but none of us really have no idea what to expect. I will be sure to let you all know where Mike will be for the next two years ASAP.
I really don't have much else for you. I got caught in another sand storm. My goat nemesis is still his ornery self. I did, however, want to put up a few photos of Mbalal for you. Mbalal is a small village about 30km outside of Rosso where myself and the rest of the GEE trainees went to for a field trip today. Highlight....I saw my first camel. I was/am pretty excited about that.
Ok. More later. Enjoy the pics!
