Today we travelled from Riga to Vilnius - which took a little under 4 hours on the bus. The one thing we liked about this tour is we are in each city for 2 nights, there is minimal bus travel and there is a lot of free time.
Vilnius is very pretty, and quiet well preserved - given the history.
So, after arriving in Vilnius, we wandered through the markets just outside our hotel, scored shasliks for a second time, then visited the KGB museum. Its official name is actually The Museum of Genocide Victims. It was a pretty confronting place to visit but we felt it was important.
We then had dinner with the group, before wandering around Vilnius at night. Tomorrow is a city tour, followed by Trakai Island Castle.
