In case anyone is wondering - Mike is here with me!! Its just we cant get the photos off my camera - which contains more photos of him.
Today we went to Senate Square and the Cathedral - lovely church. It was also interesting to watch some pick pocketers casing the tourists. It was a good reminder to us that we aren't in Canberra any more.
We also went to the National Museum of Finland - which was excellent... especially the big bear statue at the entrance (hey Isaac - who is a grumpy bear!!)
And for you Kate Ritchie - the lead light examples were impressive - one dated back to 1340.
We then went to Cafe Ekberg, the oldest cafe in the city, established in 1852. We had the Napoleon - which was beautiful.
Tonight we pack - for tomorrow we get the early ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn, Estonia. We will officially start the tour tomorrow night with a welcome dinner.
