We have made it to Helsinki after a long couple fights. Thankfully everything went smoothly - although the duty free shops in Singapore were a complete blur as we raced to catch our connecting flight on the other side of the airport.

We arrived into Helsinki at 6.30am (1.30pm Australian time), dropped our luggage at the hotel and then managed to find our way to Porvoo - where we spent the day exploring the old town. Mike is very happy - he found paprika pringles! Um, although we passed on the tins of moose, elk, and wild boar meat.

Going to freshen up now and then hit the town for some dinner - our aim is to adjust ASAP to the time zone difference (7 hours behind).

Helsinki is beautiful - loving it
