We arose at 4:00 am to fly from Brisbane to Queenstown, a 3 hour flight with a 3 hour time difference. Flying into very mountainous Queenstown is a nail biter as the pilot has to literally fly between and around the mountains to land here. Town is similar to many ski towns with many restaurants, bars, and shops.

Tomorrow we will drive to Fiordland National Park, a world heritage site and return to Queenstown in the evening.
