Woke up to blue skies and sun finally. Sydney must be the most beautiful city in the world, especially when the sun shines. This morning we took a ferry to Darling Harbour, rather than walk. Sydney has an amazing transit system of buses, trains, and ferries, with ferries being the most interesting. We did some shopping, touring, and had a great lunch on the waterfront.

We took another ferry after lunch to the zoo, across the main Sydney harbor. Nice zoo but not that unique from other zoos we have visited.

Tomorrow we fly to Cairns and then drive to Port Douglas for 3 nights to see the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree rain forest.
