Ronelle wasn't working on Wednesday. So, we decided to rent kayaks. We went at a place called 9beaches. It must be a hotel, or a resort, at least.
The guy who was in charge of the kayaks had nothing to do (no business, as off-peak season) and so he charged us only $10/hour instead of the usual $25. That was a pretty cool surprise !
So, we went to see a shipwreck (MS VIXEN) and then went along the coast. I liked that a lot, because it allows you to actually see beaches and bays that you would never suspect to exist. The water was not cold (I thought it wasn't) and beautifully transparent.
In the afternoon, we went to Horseshoe Bay. As the tide was very low, we walked for quite a while, from bay to bay. There were only 6 tourists at the time, and the landscape looked, unspoiled, very wild.
Beautiful, beautiful.... if I hadn't forgotten to take my camera with me....
