Decided to go to the town of Choluteca, the fourth largest town. Good drive to get here and we knew we could stay in the car park of the local Hotel Gualiqueme (N13.18.847 W87.11.483), A bit expensive but they let us use the facilities. Having said that, once we connected the electric and put on our fan, we found the voltage was too high and has burnt out the motor. All we got for that was sorry we can lend you one.
22nd- Of for a visit around the town. It has a nice central square with some pretty Colonial buildings and cobbled roads all the way round it. One of the properties was the birthplace of Jose Cecilio de Valle, one of the writers of the Central American Act of Independence. He was elected President as well but died before taking office. It must have been a wealthy family because the building is huge.
