Michael and I showed off our skills in all these activities….Michael received a 4 out of 5 on the pigeon shooting! What a natural…I was able to slam 2 out of 5…not bad! Then our skills were put to the test in roping targets…and Mr. Z takes the cake!!!...we even have a video for your pure pleasure! Then we had to get into teams for a goat wrangling competition…your team was responsible for grabbing a goat out of the pen and bringing it back to your team where they waited to flip it on its side where we had to "brand" its ass [but don’t worry we didn’t actually do that], then drag it out of the pen. However, with all our teams’ skills aside, Michael’s strength got the best of him when it was his role to “flip” the goat. What was supposed to be a gentle turn on its side to the ground vastly became an ultimate body slam! So consequentially we automatically had 5 seconds added to our time….so clearly had no chance! Oh well, Michael is always good entertainment!!
So after all that hard work it was beer time! In order to get drinks specials you were asked to get into the spirit and purchase a bandana and cowboy hat…so of course we did!!! We didn’t participate in the whipping lesson’s but I was ready to show some of my skills on the mechanical bull!...also a video for some more entertainment.
All in all this was great fun and we were able to meet some cool people from our bus!
